HamroEvent Privacy Policy

HamroEvent (“we”, “our”, “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you use the HamroEvent app (the “App”), including features for organizers, exhibitors, visitors, and vendors.


1. Information We Collect

a) Personal Information

We collect information you provide when you:

  • Register an account (name, email, phone number, password)
  • Create a profile as an organizer, exhibitor, visitor, or vendor
  • Submit event, booth, or service information

b) Event & Interaction Data

  • Event registrations, tickets, or pre-registrations
  • Exhibitor booth assignments and visitor interactions
  • QR scans for lead collection or check-ins
  • Messages or communications sent via the App

c) Device & Usage Information

  • IP address, device type, operating system
  • App usage, crash reports, and analytics
  • Location information (if you allow it) to provide event directions

d) Payment Information

  • Only when you use paid features (tickets, booth bookings)
  • We do not store full card details; payments are handled securely via payment gateway

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  1. Provide App services and event management features
  2. Process registrations, tickets, and exhibitor/vendor bookings
  3. Notify you about event updates, reminders, and announcements
  4. Improve the App functionality and user experience
  5. Collect analytics for planning and reporting
  6. Comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share your information with:

  • Event organizers or exhibitors for registration or lead tracking
  • Vendors or service providers only to fulfill event services
  • Legal authorities if required by law or to prevent fraud

4. Account Deletion

Users can delete their account at any time:

  1. Open the HamroEvent App → Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account
  2. Enter your password and confirm
  3. Your personal data, event info, tickets, and other related data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  4. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

5. Data Retention

  • We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide services
  • Analytics and anonymized usage data may be kept indefinitely for improvement purposes

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Correct or update your personal information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt-out of marketing communications
  • Download a copy of your data

9. Children’s Privacy

HamroEvent is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time.
